Tamlyn McHugh
Consultant Archaeologist
Tamlyn McHugh BA MA MIAI is a Sligo based licenced archaeologist and a member of the Institute of Archaeologists of Ireland.
Tamlyn has worked as a professional archaeologist in Ireland for 20 years since graduating from University College Cork with a BA (Hons) in Archaeology and an MA (Hons) in Methods and Techniques of Archaeological Practice. Tamlyn has a wide variety of archaeological experience working at senior level both in the public sector as an archaeologist for Mayo County Council and as a consultant archaeologist in the commercial sector.
Since 2017 she has been delivering Field Monument Advisor/Community Archaeology Services on behalf of Sligo County Council and the Heritage Council.
